We are delighted to recognise the extraordinary contribution of former Trustee, Malcolm Farrer-Brown, by appointing him to the honorary position of Vice President.

Malcolm, who retired from the Board last year after an amazing 43 years’ service, organised six fundraising concerts for SBA – four at the Royal Festival Hall featuring the Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields conducted by Sir Neville Marriner and two at the Free Trade Hall, Manchester featuring the Hallé Orchestra.

Malcolm was also responsible for single-handedly selling over 180,000 SBA Christmas cards in 1975….!
