Sally Williams, formerly of Radcliffes Le Brasseur and Russell Cooke has been appointed Chairman of the Solicitors Benevolent Association for 2008/9. Sally was elected a Trustee of the SBA in 2002 and has been active in promoting the SBA’s work and encouraging local involvement as well as visiting beneficiaries in London.
Sally comes from a family of lawyers. She has two brothers and a sister that are solicitors as well as her father and various uncles and great uncles who were also members of the profession. She is married to a barrister and has two sons neither of whom is in the law. She retired from full practice, specialising in property law in 2002 and since then has been working with a number of charities as well as the SBA.
Sally will become Chairman on Wednesday 11th June 2008 at the SBA Board meeting held at The Law Society, Chancery Lane, London.
