Julie’s life changed forever when her then nine year old daughter Felicity was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour and was given a year to live.  To make matters worse her solicitor husband left her five months later to live with another woman. 

With no husband or income and with a sick child, Julie had to leave the family home and move into rented accommodation.
